Awesome post. I started doing yoga two years ago and can sometimes forget that it prepares us for hard things in life by doing hard poses on the mat. During those hard poses, we find the strength and stillness within to carry with us through our everyday lives. thank you for your post and relating your experience of caring for a sick toddler to yoga.
thank you for this! i so appreciate hearing people's experiences and points of connection. it is so easy to forget in the constant stream of busy, but so many moments, even just pausing to breathe on purpose during a moment of stress or conflict, can be a yoga practice if you pay attention.
